Ebay Campus Master Plan
San Jose, California

The existing nine acre home campus for the internationally recognized eBay Corporation contains a complex of existing buildings and landscaping.  Originally developed as the Greylands Business Park, the project is located on a prominent site on Hamilton Avenue near Bascom Avenue.  After eBay purchased the Greylands Business Park, a Master Plan was developed to selectively organize and enhance the overall campus identity, way finding and public accessibility as well as to redesign all interior courts.  The campus areas for development include five interior courts, a new visitor auto entry court and drive, a pedestrian walkway spine linking the campus and a new landscape image along Hamilton Avenue and Greylands Drive.  Most of the existing trees were preserved.

ABLA provided site development and landscape design for the first three phases of the phased Master Plan implementation.  This includes: the design of 1,500 linear feet of new landscaping along Hamilton Avenue and at the campus entry, the design of a new visitor auto entry court and drive, the redesign of an existing 16,000 square feet courtyard.

Scope of work includes hardscape and softscape design, layout, grading and detailing for all site and landscape areas, from schematic design through
