Meyer Silberberg Land Architects were the Design Land Architects and Antonia Bava Landscape Architects is the Landscape Architect of Record and was responsible for the development of all construction documentation and construction administration. ABLA was responsible for the hardscape and softscape details: stone and concrete hardscape details for podium and on grade areas; paving layout, planter walls layout, planting details, grading, irrigation, and interdisciplinary coordination for all site and landscape features.
Podium development required extensive and rigorous coordination and collaboration with two project structural engineers and a waterproofing consultant. Following the Mission Bay Guidelines for streetscape design, streetscape details, utilities, and infrastructure were coordinated carefully with two civil engineers with detail and infrastructure review by the Mission Bay Task Force and design review by OCII, City and County of San Francisco Office of Investment and Infrastructure.
409 – 499 Illinois a major component of the Mission Bay Master Plan Development. The site sits on a prominent location along the San Francisco Bayfront. A 1 acre on structure courtyard commands magnificent views of the bay. The schematic design and design development for the landscape and site design was developed by David Meyer, Meyer Silberberg Land Architects. ABLA was responsible development of all construction documentation and construction administration. Work included hardscape and softscape details: stone and concrete hardscape details for podium and on grade areas; paving layout, planter walls layout, planting details, grading, irrigation, and interdisciplinary coordination for all site and landscape features. The construction detailing process involved extensive collaboration with two civil teams, waterproofing consultant, two structural teams designing the buildings, the Client Shorenstein Properties, LLC, as well as infrastructure coordination with the Mission Bay Task Force and design review by the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency.
